About Band Noxa From Jakarta

Noxa formed mid-March 2002 by Oxen Robin (drums) and Ade (guitar). they decided to play grindcore Straight Forward Old School with the social, political, love and hate story, the lyrics of humanity, etc. from their first started covering Nasum (Swe) songs of breathed-album, and of course some Napalm Death parents (English) song ,

Four of them are scholars from Sahid University in Jakarta, Indonesia. Graduated from the same university. Getting to know each other nearly 10 years and have always jamming and sessions at several local gigs around the year. Robin Cow & Ade decided to create a band, bull call Tonny (vox) and Dipa (Bass) to join the band.

Cows Robin, is offered to all members to call noxA quartet, it means "All things can be killed and harmful to health, body, even your life if you consume more than a dose of" after all the band members agree to use it, so we use noxA until now.

After playing in a few local gigs we were writing their own songs and decided to record our debut album. November 2002, we entered DE Studio Jakarta, Indonesia. Recorded 18 songs in 1 minute or longer periods per song. We are very happy to do so. August 22, 2003, we launched our first album under the title RECORDS noxA ourselves with our own label. Make this album with our own money, all the band members share the money to make a record / album happen. And we are very proud and pleased when the album is done. We played at the International Metal Fest around Singapore and Malaysia as well. Also we had five video clips of our 1st album such as:

Beginning in 2004, they decided to make some new material in the studio jamming, we ended up recording the 2nd album, and we entered the studio DE to drum track alone. And the guitar, bass, vox tracked at the Coliseum Studio Jakarta. Cipta Gunawan Moehammad one of our engineers and engineers Jorghi 2nd Soebagio help us for the recording sessions. Mixed & mastered the 2nd album in Stonedeaf Studio in New York City - United States. Gunawan with our friends helped us to make the album recordings done for all goods. This album contains 31 songs, 46 minutes. Cool design by Tonny Tandun of Companies Toy T. album is called "Grind virus" bulls make an album title.

May 2006, noxA got offered to play at Fuck The Commerce X Metal Festival 2006 in Luckau in Germany. But it is very sad that we could not play there because we did not get a visa for any artist or tourist visa there.

October 1, 2006, we released our 2nd album title "Grind virus" under noxA RECORDS 1,000 copies only!.! We tried to mix and improve our music with D-beat style, hoping that the D-beat Grindcore music has become a mass messages, mass music, mass virus to make the world even, level, and the same in the music industry.

January 17, 2009 their drummer Robin cow died, he had an accident. July 2009 Noxa got a new drummer who replaced Robin's name is Alvin.
