About Band Dead Squad From Jakarta

DeadSquad is a technical death metal band that contains a collection of names that already have a place in the country music event. Both in the realm of mainstream music and underground music in a zone. Items that Stevie is still listed as members of Andra & The Backbone and Christopher Bolemeyer known as Coki Neutral, both occupy a position as a guitarist. Then there Bonsquad ex-Skull on bass. Adrian Gorust ex-Siksa tomb on drums and Daniel ex-Abolish Conception on vocals.

Previous series of names have also been strengthened DeadSquad formation. As Ricky Siahaan is now listed as a personnel Step Forward and grin. Then Prisa, ex-Zala which now also formed a new band called Vendetta. Also Babal ex-Alexander who is now his position is occupied by Daniel.

Strength sensation of a series of names is what ultimately makes DeadSquad as supergroup busy discussed. Because it is expected to give something pretty slapped by a landslide, especially in scenes of extreme metal music.

Horror Vision is the first successful launch manifest DeadSquad. Records released by Rottrevore Indonesia. Launching its own has been done in concert "Lamb of God: Wrath Tour 2009" on March 9 yesterday, where DeadSquad be the only opening band. Contains eight pieces of material that is sufficiently massive technical. One of his track is a cover version of the material of the legendary death metal band Sepultura, Arise.

My expectations may be a bit too high. Because when after listening to the whole matter was not discovered something completely new. Everything is still in the corridors of technical death metal standards has often done by similar bands in the past. Perhaps the style of old-school approach to metal exercised by them. But if only in terms of exploration of the characters can be sharpened, without having to leave the old-school style they believed might be able to sound more fresh.

However, if the search is on the technical side, such as the composition neat and distinctive elements of the music of extreme technical metal, it can be satisfied in this album. Quite destroy the head if you want to feel the sensation of a blend of beauty brutalistik harmonies and rhythms aggressiveness structured blasting of the whole matter.

The first material, "Army of the Dead" was opened by a magnificent orchestration intro. Reminds me of the style that is often done by atmospheric orchestral melodic black metal band, Dimmu Borgir. Then followed by the other material that make the ears fairly dragged into sophisticated structures. Closed by gripping nuanced outro that became a resolver sweet at the end of the matter.

Writing lyrics is pretty good. Especially those packed in Indonesian format. The game is quite catchy metaphors combined with the composition of diction-diction fishing for thought. The themes of typical gloom of life and social criticism can be strung together beautifully in a pretty solid song material. From a technical perspective, maybe if a little vocal can be placed in front of the beauty of the blend layer of these words will be more ternikmati and delivered.
